Protect Our Storm Drains
It takes all of us working together to improve the quality of our rivers and streams. One of the easiest ways you can protect our waterways is to refrain from dumping into storm drains. These drains flow directly into the Ottawa River without treatment. Dumping into these drains is illegal and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. You can learn more about Allen County’s Illicit Discharge Regulations here. If you see someone dumping into our storm drains, please contact the Allen County Sheriff’s office 24/7 at 419-227-3535. Let’s all work together for a beautiful, healthy Ottawa River.
